Located at the base of the Cullasaja River Gorge, 5 miles from Franklin, rivers edge cabin offers easy water access. 10 miles from Highlands, NC. Relax on the open deck to the sound of rushing mountain water or… better yet… jump in!

The kitchen is open with a dining table and a bar area. It is outfitted with cookware, utensils, dishes, coffee maker, toaster, and more. The cabin is fully stocked with linens, bedding, towels, & blankets. The deck area has plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors, gas grill cooking or just relaxing by the water. The cabin has Wi-Fi and XM radio. The living area is equipped with a flat screen TV (with Netflix) and DVD player with an assortment of movies. There are also two enclosed porch areas that are perfect for rainy days. Plus tubes, kayaks and fire pit!

Experience the beauty of 3 waterfalls….. (Dry Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, the Cullasaja Gorge). Hike the many Nantahala Trails such as the California Ridge and Ranger Fall Loop. Pan for native gems at Jackson Hole and visit the Wilderness Taxidermy Museum. All plus more within minutes of this prime location!

Within a short drive you can see the reintroduction of elk in the Park, Mountain Farm Museum and Mingus Mill. On the Tennessee side of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park (1 hour away in Gatlinburg) you can visit Dollywood, Gatlinburg, Ripley’s Aquarium and Cades Cove auto loop.
